This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you use wolftidegear.com (the “Website”). We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law.

What data we collect

We collect only the data we need to provide our services and respond to you:

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Business / wholesale enquiries: the details you submit, such as name, company, email address, country and your message.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language settings, the pages you view and the date and time of access. This is collected through server logs and, where enabled, analytics tools.

Providing your data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the information required for a specific action (for example an email address to receive the newsletter), we may not be able to complete that action.

Why we use your data and the legal basis

  • To respond to enquiries and manage business relationships — based on our legitimate interest and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
  • To send the newsletter and updates — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • To operate, secure and improve the Website, including analytics — based on our legitimate interest and, for non-essential cookies, your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (a)).
  • To comply with legal obligations — where the law requires it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our behalf (data processors) and only as needed, including:

  • our website hosting and infrastructure provider;
  • our email and newsletter delivery provider;
  • analytics providers (for example Google Analytics), where enabled;
  • delivery and logistics partners, once you place an order;
  • public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose data.

International transfers

We store data within the European Union wherever possible. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection — for example through a European Commission adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry and business data is kept for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period afterwards to handle any follow-up or legal claims.

Your rights

  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Security

The Website uses an SSL certificate so that communication between your device and the Website is encrypted. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Children

The Website is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If such data is provided to us without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete it without undue delay.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by publishing the revised version on this page. Please review it periodically. Continued use of the Website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
